Hi! I’m Tonya! I’m a running, yoga practicing, musician and teacher who discovered fitness back in 2008, at the ripe old age of 30! As a kid, I was the fat couch potato who would always manage to get “injured” just before field day. The words “you are going to die if you keep this up” from my doctor gave me the swift kick in the rear I needed. I joined the Y, began trying to learn to run and made quite the transformation.
I have run 15 half marathons, 2 full marathons, and a few relays (with many more on this year’s schedule). I am not an expert, I simply love fitness and I try to use my blog to bring help and inspiration to others like me. I have made many mistakes along the way, but after each failure, I have brushed myself off and stepped back onto the course.
